Directions

In a sauce pan melt butter and saute onions until tender. Add flour and cook for 2 to 3 minutes Add milk, cream, salt and whisk until smooth. Add bay leaf, peppercorn and cloves and let simmer until thickened. Add cheese and sodium citrate and whisk until smooth. Cool and label,date and refrigerate.
