Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Mix sugar, berries and flour in a large bowl.
Place mixture in bottom pie crust.
Dot with butter and cover with top crust.
Crimp edges, cut slits in top crust, brush with milk.
Let pie rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove pie from oven and cool on wire rack.
