2 1/4 c Sugar
1 1/2 c Water
1 c Besan flour
1 1/2 c Ghee melted
The thread consistency can be a little tricky. An easier recipe is - mix together 1 vol of water, 1 vol of besan,1 vol of ghee, 1 vol of oil and 2 vols of sugar in a non-stick saucepan or casserole and heat, mixing constantly with a wooden spatula. The mixture will get thicker and then change to a lighter colour. It is time to take off the burner when the mixture starts bubbling and empty into a greased tray and cut.
