Nana Sear's Butterscotch Pie

This is my Dad's favorite pie!

Ingredients

1/3 cup Flour

2/3 cup Sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp. Salt

2 cups scalded milk

5 Eggs seperated

2 tbsp Tbs. butter

1/2 tsp. vanilla

3 tbsp Tbs. sugar

1 Pie shell


Directions

Blind bake pie shell at 400 for 12-15 Cool pie shell Slowly melt white and brown sugar together Blend milk into cooled caramel Add egg yolks, vanilla and salt Mix in flour Pour into pie shell Beat egg whites and sugar until they form stiff peaks Cover pie with egg whites Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes
