Natural Granola

Finding a store bought natural granola proved to be difficult - so I made my own!

Ingredients

5 cups rolled oats

1/2 cup wheat germ

1/2 cup sesame seeds

1 cup almonds

1/2 cup pecans

1 teaspoon cinnamon

optional -up to 1 1/2 cups fruit (raisins, dates)

1/2 honey

1/3 cup olive oil

3/4 cup unsalted butter melted


Directions

1. Mix all of these dried ingredients thoroughly 2. Mix wet ingredients well - drizzle over the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly 3. Spread on a fruit roll sheet (or parchment paper) in the dehydrator. Bake at 145 degrees for about 8 hours. (However when I have left it for twelve hours it was still good! So just test to your liking!)
