Navy Bean Soup

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil

1 Onion chopped

1 carrot chopped

2 cloves Garlic minced

1 small ham steak cubed

1 can Goya Navy Beans

1 cube chicken bouillon

2 cups Water

1 pepper to taste


Directions

In a pot, saute onion, garlic, and carrot in olive oil until tender. Add ham, beans, bouillon, and water. Simmer until heated thoroughly. Remove half of mixture and blend in blender. Return to pot, stir, and serve.

You can also use 1/2 cup of frozen peas instead of the carrot. [I posted this recipe.]
