Nutty Coconut Oatmeal

Ingredients

1/2 cup fast cook oatmeal

1 cup Water

1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

1 tablespoon Coconut shredded

2 tablespoons Almonds sliced

2 tablespoons Golden raisins

1 packet Splenda


Directions

Place cold water, coconut shreds,Splenda,raisins, vanilla extract then oatmeal. Cook over medium heat til water is absorbed. Place into bowl, can be topped with 1 teaspoon of margarine & 2 tablespoons of milk.

A nice twist on oatmeal. I used almond milk instead of water and a packet of stevia instead of splenda. I used 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp coconut extract. I cooked on medium for 4 min ( I like a thicker oatmeal). After it was done I mixed in 2 teaspoons of aguave nectar and topped with crushed raw almonds.

yum yum yum, add cinnamon with coconut shreds, almond slices, vanilla extract & raisins( going to try dried blueberries).
