Pear Cinnamon Oat Crumble

Ingredients

6 cups Pears or Granny Smith apples peeled and thinly sliced

1/4 cup Water

1/4 cup Brown sugar firmly packed

2 tablespoon All-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

1 cup Quaker oats

1/2 cup Slivered almonds

1/4 cup Brown sugar firmly packed

1/4 cup Margarine or butter melted

1/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon


Directions

Heat oven to 350F. In large bowl, combine pears and water. Add sugar, flour and cinnamon; stir until fruit is evenly coated. Spoon into 8-inch square glass baking dish. In medium bowl, combine topping ingredients; mix well. Sprinkle evenly over pears. Bake 30-35 minutes or until pears are tender. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
