Ingredients

4 c flour

2 c granulated sugar

12 oz toasted almonds

4 Tbl Hershey's cocoa

1 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp allspice

2 large eggs

1/2 c Canola Oil

1/2 c melted shortening

1/2 c Hershey's syrup

1 tsp pure vanilla

1/2 c lukewarm water

FROSTING:

4 Tblsp Hershey's cocoa

1 box Confectioners Sugar

1 Tsp pure vanilla


Directions

YIELD = 7-8 doz. cookies Preheat oven to 350 deg. 1. Combine all dry ingredients 2 Make a well in dry ingredients & add all wet ingredients 3. Mix until well combined 4. Make rough balls & place on UNGREASED cookie sheet 5. Bake 10 min or until brown on bottom, but soft Let cookies dry 24 hrs before frosting FROSTING Combine cocoa, confectioners sugar & vanilla Add ice water by TBSP until frosting is the consistency of thick syrup
