OK, we cheated. I used olive oil instead of butter, I diced up the boneless pork chops after cooking. I greased the casserole dish with butter then used 'snippets' which is bread cut up into cubes instead of rice. We added some fresh mushrooms to the mix & used 1/3 cup of pure cream instead of water. The last substitution was cajun seasoning on the pork while it was getting browned & some more cajun seasoning on the veges & mushroom soup mix. Great recipe, great 'bones' to go different directions with....
