Pretzel Pie

Ingredients

1 cup pretzel sticks broken/crushed

1 stick margarine melted

4 ounces cream cheese room temperature

1/2 cup sugar

1 container Cool Whip 8 oz.

1 can Pineapple Pie Filling


Directions

Mix together pretzel sticks and melted margarine. Press into the bottom of a pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely. Mix the Cool Whip, sugar and cream cheese together until well blended. Place in cooled pie crust and top with the can of Pineapple Pie Filling. ENJOY!

Sweet + salty = Excellent!!!! This pie was so mouth-watering! Make it with any pie filling you like. I couldn't find pineapple so I used lite cherry. That pretzel crust - WOW! (I'd like to try cutting down the amount of butter in the crust to see if it's still just as yummy. A whole stick seemed a little excessive - during cooking, it got very liquid-y and fell down the sides of the pie pan.)

Great taste combination! Everybody loved this pie & super easy to put together. Used 1.5 cups pretzel crumbs for 9-inch pie. Thanks for posting, will make again.
