Rhubarb Relish

Ingredients

1 pt Vinegar

1 qt Cut up rhubarb

1 qt Cut up onions

Cinnamon and cloves

1/4 ts Cayenne pepper

1 ts Each: mustard seed, allspic,

4 c Brown sugar


Directions

Boil rhubard, onions and vinegar together until soft, then add the brown sugar and spices. Boil slowly until thick, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.
