Ingredients

3 tablespoons All purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 1/2 pound beef stew meat

3 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tablespoon garlic salt

1 Bay leaf

1/2 teaspoon leaf thyme

2 cups potatoes peeled and cubed

1 1/2 cup carrots sliced


Directions

Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a flat dish. Coat meat in seasoned flour. Place butter in Bean Pot and add meat. Cover pot with lid and microwave for 8 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Add 3 cups water. Cover and microwave on simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until meat is tender. Tip: Thicken meat juices by blending 1/4 cup flour with 1/2 cup water. Stir into hot stew, cover and microwave on simmer for 5 to 6 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes covered, stir well and serve.
