2 cups Gluten-free All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
2 teaspoon Baking powder, gluten-free
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
4 tablespoons Shortening, butter or vegan alternative
2 large Eggs or egg substitute
3/4 cup Vanilla yogurt (dairy or nondairy)
1/2 cup Flavoring for scones fresh or frozen berries, raisins, orange rind, chopped nuts, choclate chips, etc.
Cinnamon-sugar mixture to sprinkle on tops before baking

Tasty, but the consistency is more spongy than traditional scones. I still really liked them. Happy to have a gluten-free scone-like choice. I made it with coconut sugar and it was not very sweet. I also added chopped dates which were very good, but next time I might add more.
