These are amazing potatoes if i do say so myself... not exactly quick but the time is worth it.
Category: Side Dish
Cuisine: American
1 1/2 pound Yukon Gold potatoes scrubbed and cut into 3/4" pieces
4 tablespoon Butter
1 medium Onion chopped fine
1/2 teaspoon Garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon Salt
pepper
Good recipe and easy to make. The onions get a little caramelized and add some sweetness. We were careful not to microwave too much so the potatoes wouldn't get overcooked. We used russet potatoes since that's what we had. It came out fine.
ScottAndSueThese were quite good, indeed. I added some basil in the last minute of frying and took them off the stove a few minutes early to keep them on the softer side. Yum!
diggidiggityI have made these a few times now. They alwas come out perfect. Gone are the days of them turning mushy or sticking to the pan or not getting the right kind of brown. The secret is the microwave.
