Simple One Layer Tiramisu

Directions

1/ Line up the finger biscuits in a dish (the proportion are for a 14 x 18cm rectangular dish). Make a strong coffee using 50ml of hot water and the instant coffee, add the coffee liqueur and pour on the finger biscuits. 2/ Mix the mascarpone cheese in a bowl with a spatula until it becomes creamy. Separate the eggs yolks from the whites and add the yolks to the mascarpone. Mix well together. 3/ Beat the eggwhites stiffly while adding the sugar gradually. 4/ Mix carefully half of the eggwhites with the mascarpone and then the other half. (Be careful not to mix too much and break the eggwhites) 5/ Spread the cream on the finger biscuits and put in the fridge for at least 2 hours. 6/ Cover with cacao powder before serving.
