Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

1 pound meat stew meat, hamburger, sausage

1 can mushroom pieces

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup water

1 cube beef bouillion

herbs & spices to taste

minced onion to taste

3 cups wide egg noodles cooked, still warm

sour cream to taste

All purpose flour to coat meat

frozen vegetables to taste

2 tablespoons chili sauce heaping


Directions

Coat meat with flour and herbs and spices you wish to use. Brown meat (do not cook it), and place in slow cooker with all ingredients except soup and sour cream. Cook 6-9 hours on low heat, 2-4 hours on High heat. Prepare noodles according to hunger and number of people. During last hour, add mushroom soup and sour cream to thicken, and add any frozen vegetables you wish to use. French cut green beans are excellent. Serve over warm noodles.

Awesome recipe, I browned the meat in onion & garlic, and added a can of golden mushroom soup. Used all purpose seasoning, black pepper & smoked paprika for the spices. Cooking for 4 hours on high worked perfect, meat (stew beef) was extremely tender. Best ever, right up there with my Grandmas. Thanks, Steve
