Slow Cooker Chili Verde

Ingredients

3.5 lbs Trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch pieces

4 cans

2 cans Broken up with knife or hands

1 Chopped

4 cloves Minced

1 Seeded, washed, chopped (or use a few jarred)

2 cups

3/4 lb Chopped

1 tablespoon

2 teaspoon

Warmed

Directions

Place pork cubes in the slow cooker and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Add mild green chiles, tomatillos, onion, garlic, jalepeno, broth, tomatoes, oregano, and cumin. Admire the bright colors and then stir to combine. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours, until pork is very tender and sauce is thickened. Serve with warm tortilla, a dollop of sour cream, and chopped cilantro. Also very good served over white rice!!!
