Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Sugar

1/2 cup Butter softened

1/2 cup Shortening

2 large Eggs

2 3/4 cup flour

2 tsp cream of tartar

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup sugar

2 tsp Ground cinnamon


Directions

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees 2. In a large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups sugar, butter, shortening, and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt 3. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. In small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture. On ungreased cooking sheet, place balls 2 inches apart 4. Bake 8 to 10 min or until set. Immediately remove from cooking sheet to rack.
