Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Old fashioned sour cream sugar cookies. A family favorite for 4 generations!

Ingredients

1 C. Shortening (Crisco)

1 1/2 C. Sugar

2 Eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla

2 C. Flour

1 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

1 C. Sour Cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 Start by creaming the shortening and sugar together. Gradually add the eggs, one at a time. Add the rest of the ingredients. Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned.
