Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

18 oz tomato paste

15 oz tomato puree

3 6 oz cans of water (per can of paste used)

2 cloves garlic minced

1 medium onion chopped

1 1/2 Tbsp salt

1 Tbsp sweet basil

1 Tbsp sugar

1 pinch red pepper

fresh ground black pepper

1 lb Italian sausage


Directions

Brown Italian sausage in bottom of extra large sauce pot (if adding meatballs form separate recipe). Remove. Saute onions and garlic in oil from sausage until golden brown. Add paste and puree. Stir a blend. Add water and seasonings. Simmer two hours. If too thick, add water. Add meatballs during the last hour of cooking for a total cooking time of three hours.
