Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 large Finely chopped onion

4 cups Chicken broth low sodium

2 cups Cabbage finely shredded

1/2 cup basmati rice

1/2 large green bell pepper seeded and chopped

2 teaspoons Confectioners Sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons Dried thyme

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 Bay leaf

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

salt to taste


Directions

In large heavy pot combine ground beef and onions Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until beef has changed color Drain fat Add remaining ingredients Cover and bring to a boil Reduce the heat and simmer 35-40 min Stir occasionally
