Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

18 jumbo pasta shells

1 lb lean ground beef

1 onion

1 clove garlic

2 c Mozzarella cheese shredded

1/2 c seasoned bread crumbs

1 tbs parsley

1 egg 1 egg

1/2 c Parmesan cheese grated


Directions

Preparation : Cook pasta shells according to directions, just until tender and drain. Meanwhile, brown beef, onion and garlic in corningware in skillet; drain. Add cheese, bread crumbs, parsley and egg. Stuff shells, set aside. Pour 1 jar of sauce into crock pot. Arrange stuffed shells in sauce. Top with other jar of sauce and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours.

Very tasty! Baked in oven after stuffing shells about 25 minutes at 350. Just added to my favorite list. Thanks for posting this great recipe.

I've made this dish twice and I'm currently making it now! I did try it in the crockpot as well as the oven and both worked really well! Thanks for making my husbands stomach happy!

Ooops. I forgot to add... I did not use a crockpot for these. I simply made them up and baked them in the oven for 30 minutes. I also sprinkled some mozzarella cheese on the top, used marinara sauce, then sprikled with grated parm/romano cheese.

This was pretty good. I froze some seperately on a cookie sheet and stuck them in the freezer. My husband, who usually doesn't like pasta, really liked these. Great recipe
