Sweet and Sour Bean Soup

Ingredients

1/2 pound bacon

1 pound sausage

1 package hot dogs

1 large onion chopped

1/4 cup vinegar

1 tablespoon gumbo file

1 quart milk

1/4 cup green bell pepper chopped

1 can pork'n'beans large

2 cans cheddar cheese soup

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 teaspoon chicken stock

4 each bay leaves

Directions

Dice and brown bacon til half cooked. Add sausage, onion and bell pepper. Cook til meat is done. Add 1/2 can pork 'n' beans. Puree the other half. Add milk, cheese, sliced hot dogs, spices, and pureed mixture. Simmer 45 minutes.
