Swiss Fondue

Ingredients

2 cup Dry white wine

1 tablespoon Lemon juice

1 pound Gruyere or Swiss, shredded

1 pound Fontina shredded

1 tablespoon Arrowroot

2 ounce Kirsch

pinch Nutmeg

fresh Bread chunks

Pears cut in wedges

Apple cut in wedges


Directions

Boil wine and lemon juice in a fondue pot. Reduce heat to low. Toss cheese with arrowroot and gradually add cheese to wine mixture, stirring constantly. When cheese is melted, stir in Kirsh. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
