Thanksgiving Bloody Mary Base (The Aviary)

Ingredients

1 Can Whole Peeled san marzano tomatoes (one 28oz can)

2 Cups Turkey Broth

14 Oz Cranberry Jelly (one 14oz can)

1 Bag Cranberries (fresh or frozen) (needs 300g, not 340g)

11 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2.5 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp Sambal a little less

3 Tbsp Prepared Horseradish a little less

1 1/2 tsp Salt

1 1/2 tsp Celery Salt


Directions

Combine all ingredients (except celery salt) in a large bowl, stirring to mix thoroughly. Transfer mixture to a blender, working in batches if everything won't fit at once. Blend at high speed for 1 minute to thoroughly incorporate everything. Add celery salt and pulse blender briefly to combine. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, discarding solids (you can skip this step if you prefer more texture in your Bloody Mary.) Transfer to a glass bottle or other non-reactive airtight container and reserve in the refrigerator to chill thoroughly.
