Turkey Souffle

Yummy way to use up leftover turkey. You can also used cooked chicken or pork for variety.

Ingredients

2 cups milk

2 Tbs butter

2 Tbs Flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup Bread crumbs

2 cups Turkey cooked and chopped

3 Egg whites

3 Egg yolks

1 Tbs parsley flakes

1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

3/4 cup water


Directions

Separate eggs and beat whites until stiff. Set aside In sauce pan over med heat make sauce of first 6 ingredients. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add turkey, egg yolks, and parsley. Fold in whites. Pour into a buttered 2 quart casserole and bake 35 minutes at 350F. Serve with sauce of 1 can mushroom soup and 3/4 cup water.

Very good. I think it would be improved with some cheese and veggies, such as broccoli or asparagus. Also, I think the directions for the 6-ingredient sauce could be a bit more detailed, for someone who might not be very experienced.

I apologize and correct me if I'm wrong...I don't see instructions on the crust. Both photos have very nice crust but I just don't see instructions on how to prepare the crust. I see breadcrumbs in the recipe list but when do you add them in the recipe??? Help Me.....

Excellent! This was my first souffle. For sauce, I had cream of chicken. Added butter, milk, mushrooms, truffle oil, & chopped nuts instead of water. Was yummy! Will make again. Thank u for posting!
