Wild Rice and Chicken (or Shrimp) Creole

Ingredients

1/2 stick Butter

1/2 cup Onion chopped

1/4 teaspoon Rosemary crushed

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Paprika

1/4 teaspoon Garlic salt

1 box Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice 6 oz.

1 can Tomatoes (28 oz) chopped coarsely & undrained

1 cup Water

1 pound Chicken breast sliced OR

1 pound Shrimp peeled & deveined


Directions

THIS RECIPE IS MADE WITH EITHER CHICKEN OR SHRIMP, not both. Melt butter in large saucepan or Dutch oven; add onion and saute until tender. Add remaining ingredients (except shrimp, if using). Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. If substituting shrimp, add at this point. Cover and simmer 10 more minutes. If necessary, add water to thin mixture.
