Linguini with Red Clam Sauce Ingredients
1 pk (8-oz) linguini
1 c Clam juice (
drain
ed from
4 tb
Olive oil
1 cn (16-oz)
tomato
sauce
4 tb
Butter
1/4 ts
Oregano
1 sm
Onion
; chopped
2 cn (6.5-oz)
clams
; drained
1 c Sliced fresh
mushroom

2 tb Chopped fresh
parsley
2 Cloves
garlic
; minced
Instructions for Linguini with Red Clam Sauce

Date: Sun, 28 Jul 1996 22:27:02 -0500 Cook linguini according to package directions. In a large heavy skillet, heat oil and butter. Saute onion and mushrooms until just tender. Add garlic, clam juice, tomato sauce and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add clams and parsley just before serving. Spoon sauce over linguini. Serves 4.
