Sour Cream Apple Pie Ingredients

8 oz Chicken breasts PIE
1/2 Egg white 9 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
1 ts Cornstarch 1 c Sour cream
1 pn Salt Large egg, lightly beaten
Oil for frying 2 ts Pure vanilla extract
3 Green peppers 3/4 c Sugar
3 1/2 oz Bamboo shoots (parboiled) 1/8 ts Salt
2 oz Cashew nuts 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Garlic, chopped 2 lb Granny Smith apples *
1 tb Rice wine TOPPING
1 pn Msg (optional) 1/3 c All-purpose flour
SAUCE1/4 c Sugar
1 tb Soybean paste 1/4 c Light brown sugar, packed
1 tb Soy sauce 2 1/2 ts Cinnamon, ground
2 ts Sugar 3/4 c Walnuts, chopped
1/2 tb Vinegar 6 tb Butter, unsalted **
1/4 ts Salt

Instructions for Sour Cream Apple Pie

* peeled, cored, and thinly sliced ** chilled and cut into pieces In large bowl, combine sour cream, egg, vanilla, sugar, salt, and flour, stirring until well blended. Stir in apples. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional 30 minutes. TOPPING: Combine all topping ingredients, blending until mixture resembles coarse meal.
