"I have a large family, so tripled the recipe, with a few adjustments. We like a strong onion flavor, so I used 3/4 of a medium yellow onion, minced fine, plus half a bunch of green onion stalks. Because of the large amount of potatoes, I had to increase flour to 1 1/2 cups. These adjustments to the recipe made 14 Jumbo Latkes. All in all, these turned out great... wonderful base recipe! Thank you."

My little boy & I love these & he's not a big fan of potatoes. He didn't know what they were. Even liked them with apple sauce

I made some edits to this recipe. I used half an onion (grated -- not chopped). I also used some baking powder. This was a huge success! Even my most finicky eater loved it!

Had to keep warm in the oven for a bit, but they crisped back up nicely on a dry hot pan. I used a little extra onion (grated), but the basic recipe turned out great!
