Suggest a better description1. Wash lettuce leaves and line a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat- resistant, non-metallic casserole with half of the moist lettuce leaves. Top with peas. 2. Sprinkle peas with sugar, salt, pepper, and mint and dot with butter. Cover peas with remaining lettuce leaves. Heat, covered tightly, in Microwave Oven 9 minutes or until peas are tender. 3. Carefully tilt cover to allow steam to escape. Then remove cover. 4. Remove lettuce leaves and toss peas well before serving. VARIATIONS: 1/4 teaspoon dried chervil or savory may be substituted for dried mint leaves.
