Original recipe makes 4
1/4 cRed onion; thinly sliced
2 cCooked shell pasta; drained
1/3 cItalian dressing
1/4 cchopped; Fresh basil leaves
1/4 tsRed pepper flakes; crushed
1/2 mdAvocado; diced
6 ozwater-packed; Albacore tuna
3/4 cTomato; diced
4 Green leaf lettuce leaves
2 tbBlack olives; chopped
2 Garlic; minced

Pasta/tuna Salad Nicoise Preparation

In a small bowl, combine dressing, basil, garlic, and red pepper flakes; set aside. In a large bowl, combine pasta, tuna, tomato, avocado, red onion, and olives. Add dressing and toss. Line two plates with lettuce leaves, spoon on salad. Serves 4 Posted to recipelu-digest by JoAnn on Feb 09, 1998
