Pumpkin soup Preparation
Melt butter in heavy saucepan and cook onion over med. heat until soft. Add broth, salt, pepper and bring to a boil. Add pumpkin, and combine it thouroughly. Lower heat and simmer uncovered for 45 min. Add cream and heat through w/o boiling. Serve hot with parmesan cheese.
