2 pounds Cherries; fresh, tart, pitted
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

Original recipe makes 10


Preparation the top of filling with 1 Tb of chopped butter...bake at 425 in a two-crust pie for 40-50 min or till golden
