Simple and healthy. Low in sugar, this one is great for the kids! Organic makes it even better!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
On the stovetop over medium to high heat, add cherries, water and brown sugar. Allow mixture to boil. Whisk in agar agar and continue boiling for one minute. Turn off heat and allow to cool until mixture starts to thicken.
Pour mixture into pie crust. Turn out second crust and place on top of pie filling. Mash edges together and cut off extra dough.
Place pie into hot oven and bake until crust is golden brown. (about 30 minutes)
Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes.
