A traditional English Yorkshire pudding recipe - makes a light, soft bread.
Sift together the flour and salt, make a "well" in the center and break into it. Stir half the milk in and beat until it is smooth. Add the remaining milk gradually and beat until smooth.
Put butter in a baking tin/pan measuring 7x7 inches and heat it in the oven.
Pour in the batter and bake at 425 for 30 mins until well risen. Cut into squares and serve.
