1. Cook fettucine according to package directions.
2. In a large skillet, saute the asparagus, onion and garlic in butter until tender.
3. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
4. Drain fettucine. Toss with asparagus mixture.
