? In a mixing bowl, add salt, 1 cup flour, and yeast. Combine lightly with a fork.
? Add warm water. Mix with a mixer on medium for 20 seconds, or until well blended.
? Turn mixer to high, and beat for 3 more minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl often.
? Add 1 1/2 cups of the remaining flour, and mix together until dough comes together in a ball.
? Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Knead for 8-10 minutes, slowly adding the remaining 1/2 cup of flour.
? You may not use all of the remaining flour. Roll finished dough into a ball.
? Lightly grease a large mixing bowl.
? Roll ball of dough around in the bowl to coat with the grease. Let dough rise covered, for one hour.
? Punch down dough. Divide into two pieces. Cover pieces in bowl with damp towel again, making sure they do not touch. Let rest 10 minutes.
? Roll each piece out on a floured surface, roll up sides to form 12" long cylindrical roll. Pinch edges together to seal.
? Place rolls on a lightly greased baking sheet covered with corn meal, seam side down.
