Must refrigerate overnight - plan accordingly.
Arrange bread slices in a buttered 13x9 baking dish. Combine eggs, milk, half and half, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon in a large bowl; stir well with a wire whisk. Pour egg mixture over bread slices. Cover and chill 8 hours.
Beat butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup at medium speed of an electric mixer until blended. Stir in pecans. Top bread slices with nut mixture, spreading evenly.
Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 45 minutes or until golden.
