1. With mixer beat sugar and margarine until fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
3. Add vanilla and bananas. Beat well.
4. Sift together flour, salt, and soda.
5. Gradually add flour to mixture.
6. Pour into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
7. Let sit for 20 minutes.
8. Bake 250 convection 300 regular oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
