This is my version of an old favorite. My husband loves it!!
Rub roast with garlic powder and thyme. Flour roast. Brown roast in black cast iron pot. Add all remaining ingredient and cover. Simmer on Medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hour. Serve over rice.
