My contribution to every family gathering
Mix yeast and 4 cups flour in large bowl. In separate bowl whip eggs, oil, sugar and water. Add to flour and yeast mixture. Blend well and add remaining flour and salt, adding more flour if needed. If making herb buns, add mixture at this point. Knead into soft ball. Let rise 15 minutes, punch down and let rise another 15 minutes. Punch down and form into buns. Place on greased pan and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 12-15 minutes.
For Herb Buns add: 4 tsp sugar, 2 tsp parmesan, 4 tsp basil, 1 tsp garlic, 4 tblsp
parsley, 4 tblsp minced onion
Add herb mixture to any recipe: For every 2 cups flour add - 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp parmesan, 1 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1 tblsp parsley, 1 tblsp minced onion.
