Ziti with Broccoli and Garlic in oil sauce. Very Good.
Cook pasta.
Chop Broccoli and celery into about 2 inch pieces.
In deep skillet, heat 1/4 cup of the oil, cook garlic about 1 minute. Add broccoli & celery; cook, stirring constantly, until evenly coated with oil. Add 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 cup water. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 2 minutes. Uncover and cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 10 minutes..
Drain pasta. Stir pasta into vegetables, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and remaining 1/2 cup of oil.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and/or almonds, if desired.
Serve with mandarin oranges.
