This family favorite is great for holidays, potlucks, or for your everyday dinners at home. It has a soft soufflé like texture and pairs nicely with anything from chili to chicken.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients into a medium mixing bowl. Mix until well blended; keep in mind that the mixture will not be completely smooth.
Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9 x 9 baking dish (glass is our preferred but metal works too).
Bake for an hour, let it stand for about 5 minutes before serving.
Cook for a shorter amount of time if you like a softer gooey casserole texture. If you plan on doubling the recipe, add about 10-15 minutes to the cook time.
