1 Cut the plums in half, removing the stones, and place in a baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
2 Place the butter and flour ?in a processor. Pulse until the texture of coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in the ground and flaked almonds and the remaining ?sugar and cinnamon.
3 Scatter over the plums and cook for about 40 minutes at 180C/Gas 4 until golden. Serve with custard or cream.
