Wholesome, Satisfying and Delicious home made stew recipe
Brown meat in oil or butter then add hot water, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender (2-2 1/2 hours). Stir in potatoes, turnip, green pepper, celery, onion and bouillon cube. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. 1/2 hour before serving add Ketchup and salt to taste.
