Suggest a better descriptionBeat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar, salt, and vanilla. Beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Cover 2 cookie sheets with brown paper; draw 9x13 rectangles on each. Spread meringue evenly within rectangles. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off heat; allow meringue to dry in closed oven at least 2 hours.
Whip cream; add salt. Reserve 1/4 cup crushed Heath Bars. Fold remaining toffee into whipped cream. Spread 1/3 of mixture between layers; frost top and sides with remainder. Sprinkle reserved Heath over top. Chill 8 hours or overnight.
