I read once that this is the way James Gordon (artist) enjoys his vodka. He said he uses organic ginger beer, lime, lots of ice, a slug of vodka and fresh grated ginger to make it warming in winter. Since then it's been my favourite drink too with the addition of fruit, especially passionfruit. Of course I use the best Vodka available being New Zealand's '42 Below' and Bundaberg Ginger Beer.
Place ice in a glass and pour over the Vodka. Add in lime juice and grated ginger. Fill the glass with ginger beer then garnish with fresh fruit.
