Laurie Princes post- no straining just stirring !
Place uncooked pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic & basil in lg. stock pot. Pour in vegetable broth. Sprinkle pepper flakes & oregano on top then drizzle oil on top of that.
Cover pot and bring to boil. Reduce to a low simmer- keep covered and cook about 10 min., stirring every 2 min. or so. Cook until almost all the liquid has evaporated (leaving about 1/2-1" liquid in bottom of pot). Season to taste with salt & pepper- Mix well. Serve garnished with parmesan cheese.
